September 2012 brought news a parent never wants to hear in the form of Cancer…the months to follow, saw many miles, nights at the UVA Hospital, and a grueling schedule of chemotherapy and radiation for Noah Okuley.  Our entire community and beyond showed tremendous support and NoahFest was born.  Now, we pay it forward every year reaching out  to help some really special kids in our community, each one with their own battle.  Show your support, you can make a difference.  Become a sponsor, donate or just come to NoahFest and help them win their fights.  Here below are the kids we

Liam Shutt

Liam is 5 years old and is from Bedford.  He was at NoahFest last year and in November 2012 was diagnosed with High-Risk Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.

Wesley Shafer

Wesley is 4 years old and from Lynchburg.  In October of 2012 he was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma.  He has to travel to Philadelphia for Stem Cell Transplants.

Emaleigh Blankenship

Emaleigh from Lynchburg, was diagnosed by specialists at Boston Children’s Hospital with CLOVES Syndrome.  It affects only about 100 people worldwide. She's had two foot surgeries, tumors and a rare type of kidney cancer requiring chemotherapy and kidney removal surgery.

Isabelle Stover

Issy, from Lynchburg was diagnosed, with t-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She has been receiving chemotherapy for a little over two years at UVA. She has also been through brain radiation. She is
currently scheduled to be finished with all chemotherapy on September 15, 2013.  What better way to celebrate her completion of treatment!
  

Ezra Hudson

Ezra was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in April 2012. He receives treatment at UVA medical center. He is currently going through the maintenance treatments which require him to take medication everyday and chemotherapy every month.

Tyler Peterson

Tyler is 10, from Appomattox and was diagnosed with Cranipharyngioma, a brain tumor near the pituitary gland.

Nathan Norman

Nathan is 6 and from Lynchburg.  He has Astrocytoma and has endured several surgeries to remove and slow the tumors in his spinal cord and brain.

Carter Chapman

Picture
Carter is 5 and was just diagnosed on Friday 9/13.  He is from Lynchburg and as of today, 9/16 he is having a tumor biopsy, bone marrow biopsy and having port surgery so he can begin chemotherapy.
